1. Introduction

Crazy Monkeys is a product of Phoenix Dataworks LLC (“Phoenix Dataworks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you visit https://crazymonkeys.ai (the “Site”), join our waitlist, or request information about Crazy Monkeys.

This page is a website and waitlist notice. It is not a security audit, penetration test, or compliance certification.

3. Information we collect

A. Information you provide

Waitlist / contact: email address and any name, company, or message you choose to submit through Site forms (including waitlist and any “request” / design-partner style forms).

Email correspondence: if you email us, the content of that correspondence and your email address.

B. Information collected automatically

Technical data: IP address, browser type and version, device/OS type, referring URL, pages viewed, timestamps, and similar log data commonly collected by our hosting provider when you visit the Site.

Cookies and similar technologies: as of the last Site review, we did not operate a third-party analytics suite on the public waitlist pages. Essential cookies or local storage may still be used by our host or the Site for basic operation. If we later add analytics or advertising cookies, we will update this Policy and, where required, present a consent choice (see Section 8).

C. What we do not intentionally collect via the waitlist today

Payment card numbers, government IDs, or account passwords through the public waitlist form.

Customer source code via the waitlist alone (product preview / design-partner work is covered under a separate written authorization when that work begins).

4. How we use information

We use the information above to:

Operate the Site and the Crazy Monkeys waitlist;

Respond to your requests and tell you about product availability, design-partner opportunities, or updates you asked for;

Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the Site;

Comply with law and enforce our Terms;

Improve the Site and product messaging (including aggregated, non-identifying statistics).

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use waitlist emails to claim you were audited, pen-tested, or certified by Crazy Monkeys.

5. How we share information

We may share information with:

Service providers who help us host the Site, store form submissions, or secure our systems, under obligations to use data only for providing those services;

Professional advisors (legal, accounting) when needed;

Authorities when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security;

A buyer or successor if Phoenix Dataworks or the Crazy Monkeys product is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy’s purposes.

The Site is hosted on Vercel. Waitlist submissions are stored and processed using Supabase, acting as our service provider.

6. Retention

We keep waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to run the waitlist, communicate with you, and meet legal, security, and accounting needs. You may ask us to delete or correct your email (see Section 9). We may retain limited records as required by law or for legitimate dispute/security purposes.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small software business. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. A privacy notice is not a warranty that Crazy Monkeys will prevent every security incident in your applications.

8. Cookies, analytics, and consent (current + later)

Today: Public waitlist pages were reviewed without installed third-party analytics markers and without a cookie banner. Hosting and essential Site functions may still set cookies or similar storage.

If we add analytics or non-essential cookies later, we will: (1) update this Privacy Policy to name the tools (for example Plausible, PostHog, Vercel Analytics, Google Analytics); (2) disclose categories (essential vs analytics/marketing); (3) where required by applicable law (including for visitors in the EEA/UK or for certain U.S. state laws), provide a clear consent or opt-out mechanism before non-essential cookies run; and (4) link that mechanism from the Site footer.

9. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing (including some “sales”/sharing definitions under U.S. state privacy laws).

To exercise a request, email bobby@crazymonkeys.ai with the subject line “Privacy request.” We may need to verify your identity. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails (transactional waitlist/ops messages may still be sent when needed).

California / similar U.S. state notices (summary): we collect identifiers (such as email and IP) and internet activity for the purposes in Section 4. We do not knowingly sell personal information. You may request access or deletion as above. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

EEA/UK (if applicable): if we process personal data of individuals in the EEA/UK, our lawful bases typically include legitimate interests (operating the waitlist and Site) and consent (where we rely on it for optional marketing or non-essential cookies). Contact us with privacy questions or complaints; you may also contact your local supervisory authority.

10. Children

The Site is directed to business and professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International users

We are based in Arizona, United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Material changes may also be noted on the Site or by email if appropriate.
